There is no doubt that NBN has been extremely popular since releasing. If you don’t know what NBN is “The National Broadband Network, or NBN for short, is a high speed broadband network that’s being rolled out by the Australian Government owned NBN (formerly NBN Co.) The NBN is in charge of providing highspeed broadband connections to every home and office in Australia.” To put into more simple terms it was  nominated to be one of fastest internet broadbands in Australia and as we all know Australia is known to have slower internet then some other countries such as the USA.

As someone who has NBN and has been using it for 6 months. I have already felt a massive difference in the speed of my internet.  NBN especially as a gamer, made a big difference to the way I play due to faster FPS (frames per second) and internet. One of the main things I realised was how fast tv streaming and video streaming was compared to my old internet. I could watch hours of Netflix or Youtube without any lagging or waiting. Ethnographically people who I know who don’t have NBN usually have not as high speed internet.

NBN has only just recently come to my area and is still not available in other areas. I remeber when my cousins who live in Voyager point got nbn alot earlier then most people. NBN started with smaller areas such as the Central  Coast or Picton before starting in more populated areas.

” As the rate of the NBN rollout continues to rapidly increase, ensuring that customers are well informed about the implications and timing of the NBN rollout in their area, and have a hassle-free experience in transitioning to the NBN, will be critical to the overall success of the project.”

After reading this statement one of the key words that stuck out to me was “hassle free” because even I have seen issues with NBN’s process as sometimes it can cutt out or will need to be fixed by your’e provider. Although it is faster it is constantly dropping out.

So above I have shown their strengths and weaknesses based on reviews because some people had a good experience where as some did not.

NBN has spread all over Australia and has mixed reviews but will hopefully improve in the future.
